MMIC, Myanmar International Consultants Company Limited, is a Yangon-based engineering consulting company established in 2012.
MMIC’s main objective is to participate in and to contribute to the development of Myanmar by providing its consultancy services on the development and execution of general infrastructure projects and urban and rural development projects, financed by national and international donor organizations as well as private investors. MMIC consolidates engineering know-how covering various fields of infrastructure development projects as well as in the area of capacity development of various sectors for our nationals.
MMIC has a team of community development experts and well-chosen highly experienced engineers at its disposal in order to provide a proficient team for every single internationally and locally financed project. With its international partner companies, MMIC can draw on their know-how needed for successful international tendering.
Beyond that MMIC’s objective is to build up the capacity of national experts/counterparts by obtaining the opportunity of working together with the international firms/experts as an on the job training and to support young, well-educated local engineers and to give them opportunity to work with MMIC as the development of Myanmar has to include the promotion of Myanmar’s society alongside with our engineering duties.

The company possess a strong background as the company itself is one of the first locally registered engineering consulting companies in Myanmar, MMIC was established in 2012 by Phnom Penh International Consultants Ltd. (PPIC) – a Khmer German Joint Venture Company and is through this part of the global network of the German-based Gauff Consultants.
The founders of MMIC are professional international engineering consulting companies with profound project experience in multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects all over the world. To draw on these resources will enable MMIC to solve various tasks of different complexity levels in the local market.
Majority of affiliated local experts of MMIC were former senior experts, consultants, engineers from UNDP and UN Agencies of Myanmar who has been so many experienced in various sectors for the Development of Community in Myanmar as well as in other countries. Other potential national experts are retired Professors, Directors, Senior Engineers from various departments of Ministries, Universities, those who have well experiences in various sectors concerning to the mother unit of departments with many years. The main reason of successful in consultancy services of MMIC is the strength of these potential national experts/consultants, working together smoothly with international experts for national projects by sharing skills, knowledge and experiences of local and international experiences.
